About Aviv
The Aviv Israeli Folk Dance Association (AIFDA) was formed in the Spring of 2006, by Sari Uretsky-Leung, artistic director. She is also the instructor of Aviv which is AIFDA's performance group consisting of individuals in grade 9 to adult. “Aviv” is the Hebrew word for “Spring” and this group definitely has a Spring in their step! All the dancers are volunteers who devote their spare time to rehearse and perform Israeli Folk Dance.
